A Welcome from Pastor Josh

Hi, I'm Pastor Josh Zimmerman.

I invite you to join us in the adventure of Knowing, Living, Sharing... the Heart of Jesus.

As you get to KNOW the heart of Jesus, He will capture you on every level. As you LIVE the heart of Jesus, you will experience supernatural loving community that can only be explained by God. And as you SHARE the heart of Jesus, you'll be part of a team that is committed to expanding the influence of the Gospel.

I invite you to find out more about LAEFC, our MISSION and our BELIEFS. Learn about our Service Times and Location, our Children's Services, and if you're ready to take the next step in your journey with God, how you can come to know Jesus personally, or join our church.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us. God bless you and we hope to see you soon.

— Pastor Josh

HOW DO I BECOME A CHRISTIAN?

  • Admit that you have sinned.
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

  • Believe in your heart that Christ died for your sin.
"The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23) "But God commands His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

  • Confess with your mouth that Jesus is your Savior and Lord.
"If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved." (Romans 10:9)

Please know that anyone on our staff will be glad to speak with you concerning salvation.

LAEFC Membership Process

Everyone is welcome to attend our church! If you decide you are ready to take that next step and join, here's what that process looks like: (Couples are encouraged to attend the interview together)

  1. Attend the four required membership classes.
  2. Complete your application (at the Welcome Center) and return it to the church office.
  3. You will be contacted to set up an interview time with 2 elders. (Interviews are typically during the connections hour on Sunday or on a weekday evening.)
  4. Interview with the elders (this process usually takes about 20-25 minutes)
  5. The interview is a chance for you to ask questions about the church and any of our ministries.
  6. Elder Board reviews and votes on name(s) submitted.
  7. Your name is published in our church newsletter.
  8. Once you have been through this process you are officially a member and will be notified about the next induction service.
  9. Induction during a Sunday morning worship service.
